Pagosa Outside is Pagosa Springs’s premier source for summer fun.  We are known for offering the best guided rafting, mountain biking, and kayaking trips in the area.   We also rent mountain bikes, inflatable kayaks, tubes and all the necessary gear to get out and enjoy the rivers and mountains on your own.  Our store is stocked with gear and clothing from Patagonia, NRS, and AIRE as well as T-shirts, hats, footwear and accessories. May through June is the prime time for rafting.  Spring snowmelt swells the San Juan River as it rushes through Pagosa and whitewater adventures abound!  We offer a variety of trips to fit any schedule or budget.

Later in the summer as the run-off subsides we specialize in other adventures like mountain biking in the San Juan National Forest, scenic floats lower on the San Juan River, and inflatable kayaking trips. 

Tubing on the San Juan River in downtown Pagosa has become a “don’t miss” late summer activity.  We are Pagosa’s tubing headquarters offering rentals and shuttles with our famous “Tubus Maximus” mini-bus.
